Support Jeff and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation!

To make a donation, please contact me.

If I raise $5,500 or more, I will climb Mount Kilimanjaro – 19,341 feet (5,895 meters) – in October 2015 – for the second time. It won’t be a simple walk in the park. I’ll need to train extremely hard during the next 12 months to prepare for such a challenging feat as it will take 7 intense and exhausting days just to reach the top!

Fundraising for such a vital cause is very important to me. In 2011, a week before the Run for the Cure race, my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was required to have a double mastectomy. In 2010 a good friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer (she’s in her early 20’s), while 2 other friends of mine are breast cancer survivors… It’s estimated over 23,000 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Canada this year alone. Over the years, I learned how many people are affected (directly or indirectly) by breast cancer. Their reasons for participating vary, but they all have the same goal; to create a future without breast cancer.

If you pledge your support and make a donation, not only will you receive a tax receipt, but you’ll help me make it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro knowing that I have you behind me every step of the way…all 19,341 feet….

The online fundraising page will be up and running by the end of November 2014. In the meantime, all donations can be collected and recorded on an official pledge form. Cheques can be made payable to the “Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation”. Please send me a message with your donation details.

Please dig deep…

Gratefully yours,
Jeff

Note: I’ll be paying over $2,000 plus the cost of my flight and other expenses (i.e. equipment) out of my own pocket to participate in this event. The funds you donate go directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, which support breast cancer research, education, and diagnosis initiatives – not me.
